Earth produces Metal. If you are a Metal Day Master, Gyeong or Sin, an Earth Day Master, Mu (戊, the mountain) or Gi (己, the garden field), is your Resource: the ground you came from, the support that keeps you strong. Ore comes out of the mountain, and gems rest in the soil. Earth people often feel like home to you, steady, patient and quietly protective.
Earth feeds Metal in the generating cycle, so Earth is Metal's Resource.

BomThey give you a place to rest and you make them proud. That kind of quiet support is the foundation of everything.
Chemistry
In Ten God terms, Earth is Indirect Resource (편인) if you share polarity and Direct Resource (정인) if you do not. Resource energy means safety, learning and encouragement. Earth partners are reliable and calm, which lets you relax your guard. Gyeong with Gi is a blade resting in soft earth, protected and supported; Sin with Mu is a jewel inside a mountain, valued and safe. You may notice you are kinder and less critical around them.
Friction
Too much Earth buries Metal. The Qiong Tong Bao Jian warns about Sin especially: heavy soil hides the jewel. You can become comfortable, cautious and less ambitious with an Earth partner, or they may smother you with care and routine. Earth's slow pace can frustrate your decisiveness, and your precision can feel critical to them. Mu with Gyeong, two strong yang types, can be very stubborn together.
In love
In love they ground you and you give them something to be proud of. It works when you appreciate their steadiness out loud and when they give you room to sharpen yourself. Comfort is good. Comfort that stops you growing is not. Gyeong people in particular often describe an Earth partner as the first person who made them feel they did not have to be tough all the time. Sin people describe something similar: finally being valued for who they are rather than how polished they look. That relief is real, and it is worth protecting by staying curious about each other.
As friends
As friends, they are the safe place to land, and you are the one who helps them make decisions faster.

YeonBeing cozy is not a career plan. If you have not challenged yourself since you got together, dig yourself out a little.
How to make it work
Water, your output, keeps the relationship flowing: new ideas, conversations, trips. Fire, Earth's resource, keeps them warm and energized. Thank them for the support you take for granted.
